This beautiful handwoven star (or sun) is inspired by the celebration we see in our community for the Winter Solstice amongst the Waldorf educators. This star is similar to our Swedish Advent stars, but the reed has been hand-dyed to produce a soft, variegated shade of purple to represent the deeper colors of Winter. Hang this piece above your table or in your window to add a simple and natural touch of cheer to your home. Handwoven from 1/2" reed, this star measures approximately 12-1/2" in diameter.
