Key Team Members
Utilizing horse power to bring our customers sustainable wood products is a great honor. The Suffolk is a willing breed with a lot of heart. Currently listed as a 'critical' species (having a high risk of extinction), its numbers are quite low. By working, and breeding them for others to enjoy, we feel we're making a small difference in the fate of this amazing breed of horse. With every wood purchase made from Haulin' Hoof Farm you're supporting the preservation of the Suffolk Punch. We thank you for your support!

Button Care
All our buttons are machine washable, though handwashing is recommended for the best care. When machine washing, leave your garment buttoned and turn inside out. Placing the garment in a mesh laundry bag will offer extra protection.
All our wooden buttons are sealed in an all-natural oil and beeswax finish. With each washing, this protective finish will wear away, exposing the wood's open grain. Overtime, this will cause the wood to become less smooth. To prevent this from happening we recommend applying a thin coat of olive or coconut oil to the button's surface between washings. Please note that warmer water will cause wood grain to open more, so cold water washing is best!
Broken Button? No problem!
If you have a button(s) break, please send us a photo and we will replace it free of charge or issue a refund and/or exchange. In some cases, we may need to recreate your button which will lead to a longer wait time.
Sustainability
We are deeply committed to sustainability and utilizing earth-friendly practices and materials in everything we do. From the harvesting of trees on our farm's woodlot to packaging, we consider the environmental impact of our day-to-day operations.
If you receive plastic packaging with your order, please know that it has been reused. We do not purchase new plastic materials for the processing/shipping of any of our products.
Wood diversity
We offer a wide range of wood species, all native to our region. Along with this diversity in species comes an even more diverse character in wood grain and coloration. Since we process all our own material, we're able to select the most interesting and unique stock. As a result, please expect to see this diversity in coloration and grain when ordering our wood products.
